Staff and Students from Fine Art and Photography, including Patrick Brill (aka well known artist Bob and Roberta Smith) will be presenting work inspired by the EMI factory site at a pop up event at the Bandstand on Station Road, Hayes between 12 – 2pm on Monday 17 December.
The group will ask visitors ‘Do you remember your first record?’ and will be playing a selection of EMI manufactured vinyl records.
John McDonnell MP will be joining in too from 1pm, and promises to reveal which record tempted him to part with his pocket money.

The event heralds the beginning of MADE IN HAYES, a series of public art, architecture and design projects initiated by Cass students that will take place in Hayes over the coming years. All projects will consider what great things have been, are being and will be made in Hayes, and generate ideas about how the town can continue to flourish.
